ABOUT THE KID

Born and raised in Chicago, my parents are Mexican immigrants, my Mother was a factory worker and my Father was a butcher.
What started as a simple curiosity to document events and parties I was attending, evolved into a full fledged passion and now profession. My foundation is based on the belief that everyone has a story to tell.
Currently I ‘m the Brand Innovation Manager at Chicago Beyond, an impact investor that backs the fight for youth equity. From 2012-2015 I was the Multimedia Producer for Hoy Chicago newspaper. 2015-2017 I was the Multimedia Producer for the Chicago Tribune's premium verticals: Food & Dining, Theater Loop, and Blue Sky Innovation.
