Lloviendo

No pude encontrar una mix en ninguna parte que tuviera canciones de R&B en español con canciones de Reggaeton que había estado tocando en mi playlist, así que decidí hacer una para mí. Tomé prestado un Serato Mixars Primo y hice esto.

I couldn't find a mix anywhere that had Spanish R&B songs with Reggaeton songs that I've been playing in my playlist so I decided to make one for myself. I borrowed a Serato Mixars Primo and made this.

Better With Me.

I realized there were a lot of Reggaeton songs that simply said, “they’re not good for you, you know it’ll be better with me,”  so I started a playlist. I spent a lot of time listening to this playlist in particular because each song just stuck with me, and after a while with this one I thought about how it would sound as a solid mix, one where I can hear my favorite verses and keep it moving, so I decided to teach myself and make it.  The last part of putting together my playlists is deciding on the cover art, I just finished watching the season finale of Insecure and it hit me, Issa and her love triangle was exactly what I felt these songs encompass, along with all the love stories in the show, but Issa and Lawrence in particular is a love story about seeing that they were always going to be better together. Insecure is one of my favorite shows and Reggaeton was the soundtrack to 2021 for me, so I married the two. It’s a new year, do what makes you happy. Enjoy!
